Six Point Boca Chita
Best of Breed & Best Udder of Breed - 2012 Illinois State Fair

Welcome! Six Point Farm is a family farm in central Illinois that maintains a small herd of purebred Nubian dairy goats shown occasionally in open competition. In 2013, we exhibited milkers at three shows, winning Grand Champion at all three shows with three different does! In September, we exhibited three junior does in three rings at the National Goat Expo and each doe won her junior championship leg. We hope this says something about the depth of quality in our rather small herd! We have won the Nubian Best of Breed award at the Illinois State Fair every year since 2002, except those years we didn't attend (2007, 2010 and 2013).

In the past, we have used ADGA's linear appraisal program and one-day milk tests to help us evaluate our does. All milk records and appraisal scores are presented in our performance information.

We added the Guernsey breed as our second dairy goat breed in 2011. The Guernsey goat is a rare breed and registered with the British Goat Society. If you have an interest in the Guernsey breed, don't hesitate to contact us.

Our herd health routine includes annual CAE testing.

Our goal is to produce stylish animals that show and milk well. We are happy with the type of animals that we are breeding and offering for sale. More detail about all our animals can be found at the links on the top of the page. Check our sale page for any animals currently available. Contact us if you are interested or need more information about our goats. Thank you for your interest!
