We are excited to have added the Guernsey as our second dairy goat breed here at Six Point Farm in 2011. The Guernsey dairy goat is a rare breed, being established in the United States using genetics from the critically rare Golden Guernsey breed. For an explanation of the grading up process to British Guernsey status, see the chart here. The Guernsey is medium in size, shades of gold in color, with a gentle and docile disposition. In September 2012, the Guernsey Goat Breeders of America held their first virtual show. Our wins were: Angelo - Grand Champion Buck, Meadoworthy - Reserve Champion Buck, Wellow - Junior Champion Doe, and Mallow - Reserve Junior Champion Doe.
