Charming thatched houses. Magnificent castles and cathedrals. Medieval ruins and ancient tombs. High crosses. Green countryside. Rock walls. Fuschia hedges. Pubs and Guinness. And sheep everywhere! Ireland is a country beyond description, so we'll share some of our photos here!

Beautiful Kylemore Abbey
We found this movie landmark from John Wayne's The Quiet Man: the bridge where Sean Thornton hears his mother's voice describing the White O'Morn cottage.
Teresa: "Stop!" Dan: "For a goat?" Teresa: "It's an Irish goat!" We spied our first goat while driving in the fog near Carrick in County Donegal.
We were treated to pints at the end of our tour of the Guinness Storehouse. An expert pour--one was topped with a harp, the other with a shamrock!
